Accor 360 Global Initiative

Accor Hotels latest midscale product in the Emirate of Sharjah gets the Google Maps and Immersive Image Virtual Tour treatment.

Our first 360 photoshoot directly with Accor MEA was at Novotel Dubai World Trade Centre, the main exhibition centre in Dubai. It’s where the hotel behemoth tested our high resolution virtual tours against the Matterport 3D platform.

It was at this point we realised that Matterport has it’s place and that is only in real estate property, it’s not suitable in a hospitality setting and we’ve be photographing for Accor ever since.

With each new property comes a new virtual tour of all the facilities and Novotel Sharjah Expo was a delight to work on and so far has been explored by over 115,000 visitors via Google Maps and many more via the custom integration on their microsite and Accor Hotels smartphone app via the dedicated 360 section. 

First 360 Photoshoot in Sharjah

We’ve photographed virtual tours in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah but Novotel Sharjah Expo. was our very first photographic expedition to the Emirate of Sharjah, meaning we have just 1 more to complete our UAE bingo card!

Covering 5 room categories, 3 F&B outlets as well as swimming pool, fitness room, kids club and MICE facilities and communal areas captured within a single days worth of photography it truly is an in depth virtual viewing experience like no other, through meticulous planning we can reduce time on site and therefor cost to the client which all adds to the return on investment of your virtual tour.

We explained to Accor that they should be operating a 'Google First' approach, optimising each hotel's pressence in meta-seach.

Custom Tour

Each hotel receives a bespoke, custom branded virtual tour for their own microsite and use for the sales teams, it offers a much user-friendly experience.

Accor Library

We provide 2 sets of digital files directly to the hotel, a high resolution back up at a resolution of 12k, as well as 4k imagery optimised for Accor's internal image library.

Booking.com

We predicted that online travel agents would eventually showcase 360 photos and Booking.com started to fo so in Dec 2019. Our images are ready for upload via hotel dashboard.
