When you think of Dubai there’s usually 2 iconic buildings that spring to mind. Burj Al Arab and the worlds largest building, Burj Khalifa. The latter stands proud in Downtown Dubai as the centrepiece of the district brought to you by master developers, Emaar.
While we started our journey with Address Hotels & Resorts their flagship property Address Downtown in 2015 with Destinology, it was on new years eve that very year that the hotel was gutted by fire, so it wasn’t until a year later that we mapped the first property of their new hotel concept Rove, that our partnership was born. Since then we’ve photographed their products for Address Hotels & Resorts, Palace Downtown, Vida, Manzil across Dubai as well as Al Alamein Hotel in Egypt.
Millions of Visitors
It’s been 4 years since one of biggest hotel virtual tour rollouts, we spent 2 weeks in Dubai digitally mapping all of the products for Emaar Hospitality, including Address Hotels & Resorts, Palace Downtown, Vida, Manzil and Rove. We’ve gone on to work with their Entertainment arm to capture Arabian Ranches and Dubai Hills Golf Clubs well over 10 million virtual explorers.
As well as their StreetView integration and a custom branded virtual experience for their website we also built a Easter Egg style hunt as a Ramadan promotion in order to follow clues and find lanterns strategically places around the virtual tour.
The Birth of a Brand
Rove Hotels the lifestyle brand of Emaar Hospitality was introduced with Rove Downtown in 2016, our 360 virtual tour for Google Maps was vital in showcasing the concept to the world. It quickly became a hit amongst those who wanted to stay in a more budget friendly property. Their pipeline of hotels opening is huge and we look forward in continuing our relationship with the brand as they grow both domestically and internationally.
