Club Med Resorts
What started as a pilot for the first Google 360 tour in Maldives became one of the biggest StreetView rollouts world-wide.
A little known fact, while Club Med Finolhu was the first island that was fully explorable on Google StreetView, officially (we also did the first unofficial StreetView tour a year earlier at Gili Lankanfushi as part of our Google Views project with Destinology) it wasn’t actually the first to be photographed, that honor went to Atmosphere Kanifushi.
To date we’ve welcomed well over 45 million virtual viewers to over 36 different Club Med villages that we’ve photographed, this dwarfs their original ClubMed360 video project which have had an average viewing of around 145,000 per village over a 4 year period making our true virtual tours much more accessible and engaging than video.
As with every client we went above and beyond, we allowed Club Med to become one of the first brands to showcase 360 technology on Facebook by having images ready for their social channels when the social network launched the ability to share 360 photos.
Photography on Every Continent.
Antarctica does’t count! 6 out of 7 isn’t bad. From the USA to Brazil, Morrocco, China, Indonesia and thousands of photos across Europe, Club Med remains one of our biggest clients.
Friendships That Span The Globe.
Always impressed with how the staff members (or G.O. – Gracious Organiser) worked with each other at each of the Club Med villages, it’s no surprise that when working with the same crowd who moved between resorts each year, we’ve become lifelong friends with some. This page is dedicated to them.
